New York Criminal Defense Attorney Morgan Welling Standing Outside Courthouse

Morgan Welling, Esq.

I approach the practice of Law with a unique perspective. I attended Baruch College in New York City where I majored in Finance, with a minor in Mathematics. While there I was a member of the Men’s Swim Team and had the opportunity to compete at the ECAC Finals hosted at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Following Baruch College, I attended Albany Law School where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at Albany Law School I concentrated in contract law, securities regulation, and financial crimes.

My last semester at Albany Law I had the opportunity to participate in the Pro Bono Scholars Program and completed a placement at the Schenectady County Public Defender’s Office. From there I became an Assistant Public Defender and gained valuable courtroom and trial experience zealously representing clients charged with a wide array of allegations.

My experience includes criminal trials, writs of habeas corpus, Article 78 proceedings, constitutional issues, and other matters requiring careful analysis and persistent advocacy.

Today, I bring that experience to a broader practice dedicated to protecting the rights and interests of the People throughout the State of New York.
